After attending my second convention I realized there wasn’t a reliable or convenient way of knowing which cosplayers were attending which events. You might be thinking, “well that’s what social media does”, but does it? It didn’t for me. Algorithms change constantly keeping posts from reaching followers, plus most followers forget to go directly to your account, or just don’t want to! I knew a cosplayer directory that doesn’t rely on algorithms would keep everyone connected.

As a cosplay fan and photographer with limited resources to attend as many cons as I’d like, CLU will help me, and others with the same challenge, prioritize which cons to attend since we’ll always be in the know of who’s going too!
